Missouri Bans Free Speech

Gov. Bob Holden on Thursday signed a bill banning sexually suggestive billboards that promote strip clubs and other adult businesses. The ban applies within one mile of Missouri highways.

SAN FRANCISCO - In an effort to educate gay men on the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases, gay adult film star Michael Brandon will be one of three judges of an audition/contest to cast an upcoming television commercial. Dubbed "American Penis," the "stiff competition" will take place on Monday, March 1. Winners get to provide the voices of a Healthy Penis and Phil, the Syphilis Sore.

The Dangers of a Porn Shop

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A bus crashed into an adult video store Monday night, injuring about 20 people, including many of the passengers, police said.

The cause of the 10:15 p.m. crash was not immediately clear. The bus crashed through the front wall of the building and into the store, leaving shattered glass along the sidewalk and a nearby intersection closed.
